Your files never leave your computer. The site counts visits with Google Analytics, and that is the only thing it sends anywhere.

Your files
Every tool on CSV Tools reads and converts your file inside your own browser tab. The file is never uploaded, stored or logged, by us or anyone else. Nothing about it is sent to Google Analytics either: not its contents, not its name, not its column headers and not any of its rows.
What Google Analytics receives
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-L36H7HEYWE) to count
how many people visit and which tools get used. It receives:
-
A page view for each page you open: the address of the page without any query
string or
#part, the page title, and the address of the page that linked you here, cut down the same way. -
One event,
tool_used, when a tool finishes its work. Its only detail is which tool it was, such ascsv-to-json. -
Google Analytics cookies (
_gaand_ga_L36H7HEYWE), which let it tell a returning visitor from a new one. - The ordinary details any browser sends with a request: your approximate location (country and city, worked out from your IP address), browser, operating system, screen size and language.
Automatic tracking of downloads, clicks, scrolling and form use is switched off, and so is Google Signals, so visits are not linked to Google accounts. Detailed event data is deleted after 2 months; only aggregate counts are kept beyond that.
What it never receives
- Your file's contents, rows or column headers.
- Your file's name, or the name of the file you download.
- Anything you type into a tool, such as a search, a table name or a title.
Why there is no cookie banner
Nothing about your files is collected, and what is collected is limited to the page counts above, so the site does not ask you to accept anything before you use it. If you would rather not be counted at all, a content blocker or Google's opt-out browser add-on stops the measurement, and every tool keeps working without it.
